Okay! Got the final okay from the race organizer Anne! Here is the plan so far. Everyone will have to be at the track no later than 10:45am to ensure you have signed the waivers and know where will be entering the track when we get to lap. The time on the track will depend on how much carnage the morning races have etc. I will be lucky enough to drive the pace car again (my Mspeed 6). I guess at another event last year that had lunch time lapping some jokers decided to try and pass each other which led to a collision. I assured them that no one in our group would be dumb enough to do something like that, however they warned me that if someone even tries to overtake they will stop the session immediately and we will be asked to leave the hot track. I need to know where everyone wants to meet at 10:45 so I can tell the organizers etc. Its up to you guy & girls, I would suggest the lower pit area which is freshly paved etc. Please let me know what you think!

I should be getting the free tickets this week and they will be available at the dealership and 2 other yet to be named locations!

This is not open lapping! This is for people to get the experience of the big track at Mosport under a controlled environment. It is an introduction to the track. If your looking for a lapping day, I'm afraid this is the worng event. Last year after about 5 laps we caught the tail end of the field and had to go to pit road and re group. There will be cars out there that struggle to keep up.

 

Hmm ic, I didn't know that when I signed up but I'm coming anyway. Those Mosport corners scare me, especially turn 2 where I spun out in the rain

Your not alone! Turn 2 scares all of us even though we race there all the time! When I instruct at the big track I see god everytime I go through turn 2 with a student!
