^^ you were the green 3rd gen right??

You and I had a good couple laps during one of the dry sessions, i think the only reason i was able to keep up with you is because we kept getting caught in traffic.

There was an insanely fast miata there that really impressed me, not sure who it is though.

Yah, I was the green 3rd gen

Those were some nice runs. I'm not confident enough yet though to get close enough to cars to "ask for a pass" so I wait until they either decide to tell me to pass or I see an opporunity coming up which is relatively safe.

Was that the light blue one? If it was it belonged to this British guy. He had someone ride with him earlier to help him in learning the track.

What surprises me though is that I was able to learn what I did on my first time on a track with only 2 sessions of proper track conditions.

I enjoyed it so much I went searching for more lapping days and found Shannonville has one more lapping day so I'm going to go to that one. However, first I need to have Dave look at my brakes, I might have killed the pads lol.

How did the newbies find Mosport? It's a pretty serious track for the inexperienced...

Dave offered it to his customers and of course people would post on all automotive forums like this thread.

I liked it. Once it was dry, I had no issues pushing it on the corners with confidence. I need to work on my braking + downshifting though. Occassionally the car would jerk as I released the clutch. I'm still not sure if its a problem with the car though since the rear pulls to the right when theres wheelspin.

Thanks everyone for not running me over, i didnt really get to go too fast but most importantly i started to learn the lines. As the track dried and i threw on the ra1's i gained alot more confidence but that was short lived when it started to rain again.

TO THE CAMERO DRIVER - YOU DESERVE WHAT YOU GOT!! < I was in the flat black FC that you almost took out.

Not sure if anyone from here saw what happened but as I was entering 3b, this green camero came right up on my *** (this is the second lap into the event) and spins behind me almost taking me out with him, slams into the wall on the passanger side of the car.
He was driving like moron and i hope he learned his lesson.

There were a few spins early in the day, i saw some skid marks at the very end of the event but im not sure who spun then?

CAN SAF CREW, you guys made that Porsche GT3 look silly, that was awsome!!!
He hit the wall right in front of me.

Anyhow I have never slid around like this before. I could barely get the car over 3800rpm. The instant car went into boost the car would get tail happy. Spun out instantly twice on the first lap. Does not help that I have that rich bog during transistion.

I had to leave early to get to my brothers going away get together.

There is always next year.

One comment though. Its a little dawning when you can pull away a decent distance from Dave driving a stock Sentra (weight removed, but still) on the back straight and then he catches up to you as you pass the pit entrance even though you took the corners at 100 km/h . I just let him pass cause I'd just be slowing him down even though I could have pulled away from him again on the pit straight. I could follow him on the pit straight of course but once the corner came he just flew away lol. I know hes a professional driver so its expected but when he told me the car was stock I went o.O

it was a fun day.

Didnt get to take my car out until the last session when there was a dry line. I had slicks on the car.

I took the race car out in the first session on the wet track. that was fun couldnt go over 4000rpm car was sliding all over. Wish it would have been dry for the first time in the car. maybe next year if the car isnt sold or with other motor in it i could get another chance in the dry.

I wish there was another day before winter

I was looking for pics and vids also but all I could find was http://stage6.divx.com/user/328DTM/video/1756056/Nick's-350Z-Lapping-@-Mosport
My stupid camera turns off at 2:56 on every run because of vibration protection I think so all my track time was lost
