What a weekend

We went out Saturday for mourning Practice and had clutch problems. Went back to the shop and fix that.

Sunday there was no practice so we started last place of 41 cars in the race.

After lap 2 past most of the field. And then On lap 3 the front right tire got cut by something on the track and just after the back straight going into corner 9 Lost all tire pressure and the car went straight into the wall

Destroyed the carbon fiber clip front end.

We were able to fix the car for the last race. When people thought it wasn't possible we did it.

Started last again in the last race and finished 9 overall. With no front end, It was like driving in a brick wall, with no handing.
We were about 3-4 seconds of our pace doing a 1:32

It was impressive seeing the car out there again during the last race, a hell of an effort by the can-saf team after some bad luck.

 

Damn!! Mosport will always destroy cars the minute you lose control. Bad luck... but you still got the car back out... impressive display! Too bad I wasn't there.

 

Hey Kurt, I think your car looks good as a Nascar Modified! Have you though about running at Mosports oval..................................(lol)

 

Good job getting it together for the last race. I would LOVE to be 4 seconds off the pace and still be doing 1:32s.

 

I don't think the crowd could take the noise on an oval.

I am waiting on at guy to send me the video of the crash and i will try and post it.
