No need for mod interjection (just yet). Obviously, classicauto merely asked about R.P.M's whereabout and we got an offhand comment from Nismo. No surprise, Kevin has gotten kinda goood like that over the years.
Good call, Tony.
I think it's important to consider the source. Kevin has shown a consistent (lack of) character as long as I've known him; and I've had experiences with him while working at several different shops. He's always been a nosy, intrusive, personally grating, two-faced know-it all with next to no actual mechanical experience and a marathon tongue.
His reputation amongst other ships is far from positive either, so I wouldn't be too concerned about the things he says, Joe. Anyone who reads this should read with the same outlook as Tony. It means next to nothing when it comes from someone who seems to go out of his way to be personally offensive and entirely unprofessional, and should be paid little heed, at best.
That said, Joe has consistently been an extremely reliable and courteous person to work with, and have work done by. I've both worked in shops with him, and had him do quite a bit of work for me afterward, and I can truthfully say he is a model of professionalism, resilience, and hard work. People like Joe are few and far between in my estimation, and we need more people to exemplify the kind of straight-up, point-blank honesty that he does every day. He should be supported and rewarded for his efforts, not chastised and taken for granted.
+1 for any shop that employs Joe Ferguson.

And you want to talk about two-faced, how would I know you owed Joe money for an engine if he didn't talk **** about other people.

I wouldn't call CP Racing a shop, I can't count the number of times I heard the phrase "not my car" come out of the mouths of the people that worked there.
Everyone talks behind peoples' backs. It's something that happens. Just like lying, everyone does it.
Aside from the common traits people have, I have viewed Joe in the same light prod1gy has. I find it funny we focus on the small irrelevant things versus major things like attitude and how hardworking someone is.
His reputation needs no defending... So I really don't know why I posted...
