I just wanted to post and say I am sorry about all the confusion regarding the rides in the race car. We really tried to accomodate everyone however we ran into a lot of road blocks during the day. When we unloaded and started the car we told to turn it off and we couldnt run it on the road course. Then we got the track owner involved and Uli Bieri went and talked to the CSCS guys and straightened them out. Uli was more then accomodating and helped anyway he could! By the time that was done we had missed the morning lapping session. After the car went through tech (recorded 121.4 db just off idle, track limit is 102 lol) we finally got everything okay's. The afternoon session was late starting 1:30 pm instead of 12:50pm, and we had to make a few test laps to ensure everything was okay. By the time we got people out it was like 2:30 and they shut down right at 3pm. We were supposed to go back out at 5pm, and the people who had tickets waited patiently! At 7pm we loaded the car and headed home, still not out on the track for the late afternoon session. I really want to apologize to the people who paid and waited, they were offered refunds from MCI/the Childrens Wish Foundation. Again I am so sorry to all the people who had tickets but couldnt get out!
well i didn't bother getting a refund, it would be like taking money away from sick kids!
good to see the car in person anyways, i should have at least asked you guys to start her up since i missed it running earlier in the day.
man i must have taken the long way to get to the 401 because i left about 45 min before you guys and we merged onto the QEW at the same time, haha...
that yellow turbo miata looks nice by the way.

Like I said earlier I truly feel bad about the whole thing! Here is something I can do that might work. At the end of the season we go to a lapping day at Shannonville with the whole crew and I let them drive the car for the day with the passenger seat bolted back in. Anyone who comes to that event (provided the car is still running!) can come for a ride at no charge! All you have to do is show up!
If you want to arrange collecting the money and organizing that..........no problem! We tried that this weekend and you saw the results! lol If anyone wants to donate thats fine but I am not going to charge for that day, the drive to Shannonville on a long weekend is donation enough!
