Looking for a shop in the GTA
Hey all. I'm looking into picking up a 93 RX-7. I have done substantial work with piston engines but have never worked with a rotory. I wanted to know if anyone has been to or recommends a shop that specializes in rotory engines or just did a good job with their 7. Perferably in the GTA and NOT a mazda dealer. Just a precaution incase I ever run into future problems. Cheers
There are about 6 or 7 shops in the GTA, and all of them have their fans and then those that have had bad experiences at the same shops. If you would like a personal opinion of a particular shop drop me a PM and we can discuss it.
But be most weary of the PMs you will probably receive from shopowners trying to obtain your business. Anybody that wants your business should be brave enough to ask for it publicly.
There is a new RX Club forming in Ontario and the website will probably carry some safe recommendations. But until then use the search function and ask members when you can't find an answer.

Everyone has their personal favorite (I think everyone know's mine... my car is turning into a friggin' CATALOGUE from that paticular shop, lol...)

If you e-mail or call Chris he can find out what you're looking fo and give you a quote.
Mine was bloody expensive, but new housings, rotors, all seals, porting...
You get what you pay for. Engine pulls like a mother...
