The rear end is whining quite loud under acceleration and cruise. I pulled the diff out tonight and everything appears to be OK. I don't think it needs a rebuild, maybe just a back-lash or pinion depth adjustment. I am looking for a shop around KW that I can bring it to and have it checked out that won't charge me an arm and a leg.

 

I can put you in touch with my buddy Paul who is a transmission rebuilder. I used to share a shop with him and he has built me several rx7 diffs and transmissions.
