London Rx-7 Drag Night Friday Aug 14th??
We should have a Drag night on Friday Aug 14th at the st thomas dragway, should be plenty of notice for everyone, it would be a good time for sure,
and it would be nice to have some other rx7's there
im goin aug 14th regardless, for anyone who wants to watch me bust out some low 12 sec passes

So what's happening? 14th? 21st?
21st (that entire weekend) is bad for me. There is 7 Stock North and I have some other plans as well. I don't intend to miss 7 Stock North.
If it is the 21st, then I probably won't be there. On the off chance that I am I probably won't run the car to avoid any possible issues (like shredded transmissions) before 7Stock.

I went tonight my best was 12.64@109.5mph, i need some new spark plugs in the worst way and maybe a msd 6al
it was pretty busy , i only ended up gettin 4 runs in,
2 of the runs i was getting spark blow out i think up top and it would scare me so i woud let off, id gotten it before when i was running 94 octane, none at all with 91, but i got a stupid idea of mixing half 91 and half 94 octane to try to be a bit safer but i was getting the sputtering again, my afr's are 11.3 and i pulled over and pulled my plugs to make sure theres so sign of detonation,
this is my 12.64@19.5 run it was a bad angle the glare makes it look al crappy

heres the last run i did , it was a 13.60@83mph hahahahaha it would have been a sweet as video , you can hear the back fire at the top of third gear it startled me so i let off lol, i didnt know if it was detonating lol

Sorry I didn't make it out. This weekend was very busy for me. Friday I ended up out of town and didn't get back in time.
12.64 is great! What tires were you running?
11.3 is fine though, I don't know why you are worried. If you are getting spark blow out, check the condition of your plugs, wires and coils. The stock coils are plenty strong enough to ignite mixtures in the 9s.

i have a set of used BF goodrich drag radials 225/45r17's on steel rims at 17psi i got them from my buddy for $200, probably not the best, but i got a 1.89 60ft
i never get it with 91 , i had got it before from full 94 fuel , so i tried mixin 91 and 94
i was gonna try changin the coil packs, the wires are good, they're Ultra 8mm silicone wires
my plugs are over a year old so they should be changed out
94 is the devil

me to usually, I know 94 makes my car run crappy in higher rpms.
i had this crazy theory that mixing it half and half would be safer lol
didnt work
some drag radials might actually be easier on your drive train Aaron, I get absolutely ZERO wheel hop, 1.8 60ft. I did have to beef up the front diff mount bracket she'll never break again muahahaha, its been on its way out for a while there were old cracks up the side, i ripped from where the 2 bolts go through and up right outta the bracket, but there were old chunks missin , it feels so mmuch better now when it shifts its nice and solid when the *** end breaks free in a straight line its so smooth, no effort at all to control , just keep the wheels straight,
I have solid engine and tranny mounts, beefed up front diff mount bracket and my custom semi- solid front diff mount lol till i can make this http://rx7.speedrocket.com/diff/index.html
did you get your LSD rebuilt yet?
