London Meet: Who would like to come?
We were discussing this in another thread, and I was woundering who would be up for it? Aaron has suggested to meet up at Tony's either at springbank or Dundas. It doesn't matter much to me, but I said that it should be on a sunday to make sure more people are free. If you're up for it let me know and pass the word around.
PS: If anyone knows anyone with RX-8's too that would be cool to have them in too I think. Maybe I should start making little invitation cards and sticking them on the windows of the RX-8's, we really have to teach them about their anscestors sooner or later, I hate driving down the street and seeing an RX-8 who just ignores me lol

not sure about which week ... but I would think that Sunday November the 5th would be the earliest due to people having to fix their work scheduals or what ever it would give them 2 weeks like that. As for the restaurant location I think the springbank location might be less busy on sunday, as far as time I think around 2PM might be good? So that all the lazy people that wake up at 12 are up by then .
When : Sunday November 5th, 2PM
Where : Tony's on Springbank Drive
Hopefully this will work out to get the most out.

Oh we can always make room thats not a problem .. all we have to do is get about 3 or 4 of our cars (the ones with a straigh through exhaust such as mine) and revv it right infront of their doors, that'll clear out the tables ... but ya I guess well leave the date as that we can alway find another restaurant ... we all know hooters is open too lol

Sounds good to me. Is Tony's even open at 2PM on a Sunday?
Considering that I just came back from the MOT with stickers for Tina, I should be able to actually attend an RX-7 meet in an RX-7 for the first time in 4 years...

I'm not sure but i would assume that they are ... sunday restaurants usually open earlier ... i work at the keg and we open at 3, so i don't see why they wouldn't be open at 2 even if they arent we could always just sit outside for a bit and check out how much you car leaks oil in an hour

so SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5 is the meet. at 2PM, at
Tony's Famous Italian Restaurant
426 Springbank Drive
London.
Just so that at-a-glance anyone can see where it'll be.
it's looking like the 10AE will be out, it'll be cold and sunny.

sweet ... some more ... have you guys been spreading the word to the RX-8 owners to teach them a lesson? lol
I just signed up on their forum and posted a thread on there about the meet. Hopefully that can attract a few more people.

RX-8 owners don't seem to care about RX-7s and rotary in general. In my experience, most of the RX-8 owners I have met are the type who bought the car because it was slightly cheaper then a comparable BMW...

terrh ... i dunno i've already told a few people outside the forum at 2 :S ... maybe you can join us later? And I think that I'm stuck working at 5:30 so that still gives me some time to chill with you guys ... ya figures the one day i ask to get off I don't get off ... the manager said that it wasn't a "valid" enough reason over the other guys.
theory ... sorry to hear that ... maybe you'll be back up and in business soon

We're going to have to bump it back at least two hours. I just called Tony's and the machine said that they open at 4:30 PM. I'll call or stop in later today to confirm.
Bring the TII. FDs suck. Need another bridgeported car there...
