Labour cost for getting all bushings replaced?

I've been meaning to get one of those full bushing kits, like an ES master kit or something. but after evaluating what needs to be done no way in hell i want to do it myself.

Has anyone sent their car to a garage to get this done?
if so i would like to know the cost, or at least how many hours it should take them to do.
also if there are any good places in the Ottawa area that do this sort of thing...i asked one garage and they have never done anything like this, but i'm sure there are shops that have.

It took me about 3hours, with out the subframe ones, that should add 4 hours. Just burn the bastards out, makes it go much quicker. Also, if you have spare parts, like the control arms it makes it much easier...

I wouldnt recommend eurathane ones. We have found they are very noisy and they bind very badly. I would either use high durometer rubber or delrin, the delrin isnt very nice on the street but it works amazing!

that's interesting to hear. well i want the car to be liveable on the street. maybe i will just go with all rubber bushings actually. this is just to replace worn out stuff, i'm sure some of them are worn being there since 1989.

Nismo i do have extra control arms, good tip.
yeah the rear subframe is the issue...hmmm, maybe i can just send the whole subframe to a shop. that way i can repaint it at the same time...

in any case, 3-4 hours, so probably about $300 labour.

I painted mine with Duplacolour truck bed liner, that stuff is awesome really tough, it will outlast the car, I know that for sure, but it also helped that I started with a CLEAN Jspec, sub-frame I would also have the shop reinforce, or repair the diff mount tab on the sub-frame, as they like to break.

no problem man i just did a complete 240sx worth of poly's and they went in lie butter i made my own tool and everything I didn't find the ES poly's to make any noise or bind at all, but then again this car was a kidney shaker before i did the bushings but it felt better in the corners afterwards. my buddy and i could probly have it done in less than a day including taking everything apart and changing all then bushings then re-assembly.

I've also heard that POR stuff is amazing.

When I called around, shops gave me a WIDE range of prices from $600, $900, and over $1k for the whole car.

I ended up getting an extra set of control arms and doing the fronts within a couple hours myself. I haven't had time for the rears yet though.
