a buddy just texted me saying theres a big car meet underway at kennedy commons, i thought they stopped it? im guessing that its starting again? he says lots of civics but no rx7s, he sees mitsi's, vw, civics, humv's, new scion frs, some mazdas, 370z, and audis.

ill probably drop by to check it out, anyone else in?

I heard the same thing... But I heard that they were shut down due to some reason that I'm too lazy to explain. Unless they are on private property now, they are going to be just fine.

 

They still have it every wed night. The couple times i went i saw a 1 or 2 rx7's

Right now I know that spot is used for showing off cars and bikes (Burnouts). I have a zx6r, and have been a few times on my bike. Cops and property security are there and try to get everyone to leave.. People still go there despite that presence however..

Lakeshore and Leslie downtown is another hot spot for nice rides of all sorts (lots of bikes), but the same thing is happening there. The property owners are scared of liability issues and blocking paying customers from entering other stores in the same plaza. New spots need to be found!

 

The parking lot by wall mart in pickering / brock road, just by the subway side would be a nice spot. norm empty on that end. But pickering cops are not known to be "nice".
