Hello
I’m new to this community so I don’t know much about the rx-7, but I do know that a rx-7 FD 1993 for 4000$ (Yes 4k$). I’m was planning on waiting 5-7 years before buying this car so I could gather as much info I can, but I can’t just let this chance go. I’m gonna go look at it this weekend and, before I go, is there something I should know or look at when I’ll be looking at the car? The pictures of the car looked clean. The owner of the car is 1 hour away from my home, so it’s gonna be easy to look it!

Does it still have its engine inside the chassis??
4G's... yeah, make sure you look over the entire vehicle...
The owner says that the car is perfectly up and running and that it’s the entire vehicule. Are there some stuff I need to check, like “when was the last time the engine was rebuilt?” before buying it?
Where is this car? there have been several FD’s, surpas, skylines etc on kijiji in Alberta for stupid low prices recently- it’s all fake. A gutted roller will cost over $4k.
Apparently kids at home bored make these listings and then find it amusing jerking potential buyers around. For example letting you drive an hour for nothing.
I guess kids today haven’t discovered ****, blowing **** up, or their dads beer
Bottom line; If it looks too good to be true, it pretty much always is.....I strongly suggest you video call for a walk around of the car to prove it exists prior to driving anywhere.

The car is around Quebec, Trois-Rivière. I’m pretty sure it’s real, but I’m gonna ask some questions to the owner to make sure it’s really real. The original post of the car has been takes down I don’t know why tho. So yeah, I’m gonna ask some pictures to make sure the car is real and that the owner isn’t lying.
I forgot to write that I will ask the owner for a video call and other stuff to confirm. It is pretty suspicious because of the price, but might as well take the chance. I’m already aware of how people scam with cars, so I’m not that afraid when the guy try’s to scam me.
Here’s some pics of it. These are the only screenshot I took before the post got down:
Well, in the end, I decided not to buy it, because this scream scam in many ways. I still don’t own any car so it’s not the best to buy a rx-7 as one (I just wanted to take a chance with because of the price). Well, I’m gonna wait for 5-6 years and get a actual good rx-7 with no fishy details on it.
You sound like you're from Quebec. If so, then THIS is the Miata to get. It's listed on Facebook Marketplace for $11,500. Look up the listing. He has about 10 pictures. The car looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor.

Thanks for finding me a miata, but my budget is around $5000. It's gonna be hard to find a good NA for that price, but I'll try!
