Nope. Still trying to figure out how to make me fit in it with my helmet one. Without no issue but the helmet makes me need another inch lower. Might have to weld some custom brackets. Will play again on friday with it.

The FC is a strange animal. The stock seat mounts are raised in such a way putting the race seat directly on the floor without planted rails lands pretty far back and towards the transmission tunnel. I have the planted rails mounted on the lowest setting I can while still being about to put a nut in between the seat and the rail and it sits on the raised stock mounting rail that is welded on the floor regardless of position.

This Friday off comes the planted rails and will revisit bolting it directly to the floor. No resolution I will either have to remove the interior carpet and start modifying..

Pretty sure this would not be an issue if my car did not have a sunroof and I was 2 inches shorter. I fit fine with slight rubbing without my helmet on.

I have a Carbon Fibre Momo in the Cougar and it is super light. I have never weighed it, but I was easily able to move it around with one hand. A lot lighter than my aluminum Kirkey in the RX7. Differences in wheel, caliper and rotor weights will have more effect on the car than seat weight differences, so don't overthink it.

I just feel that if I go to the can before the race, my empty bladder will more than compensate for the seat weight, LOL.
