Interesting article on automotive design

Not rx7 related but worthy of discussion. I completely agree with Tim Allen. There are very few cars in recent years that are potentially classics.

I live in downtown Toronto and everyone has a porsche here that they use as winter beaters. lol What happened to elegant timeless designs (ie. jag e-type)? It seems new cars must have the biggest this, the biggest that, and the most exaggerated lines to make an impression (Veyron and Enzo are some of the ugliest). I think the early ninties era japanese cars will be classics.

I completely agree with you Hevnsnt. There really isn't a tasteful modern car available nowadays. Everything is big and bulky. With crazy exagerated lines.
The 90's were the hay days of artistic "classical" looking cars.

Now a days everyone is worried about fuel economy and how "safe" a car is.

Including all the models we have available today, there are only a handful of cars that are done tastefully.

At least some of us already own "classic" looking vehicles.
