ON Impropmtu cruise with the NSX club. This Sun.

Who's in? I was told to bring some 7's with me. It's a small informal get together. Coffee and cars.

Sorry for the invite being so last minute. They're normally far more organized than us, but their secretary hasn't had his car out much this year and he set the date last minute.

It seems like summer is already half over, and I've barely gotten a chance to drive the car at all; so what better thing to do than have a mini coffee meet followed by a quick drive this Sunday July 26.

Meet: 9:30a.m.
Drive: 11:00a.m.

We'll be meeting at the Williams Coffee pub in Burlington at;

1250 Brant Street
Burlington, Ontario
L7P 1X8

All members are welcome to come and to bring a friend too!

It's not going to be a terribly formal affair, just show up!

I'm surprised there's not more interest.

You don't have to show up for 930, just be there before 11. Unlike us, they're far more organized and punctual, so their cruise will probably start pretty well on time.

I'll try to be there for the social aspect. The car is more of a museum piece than a driver, so not sure about keeping up with a bunch of NSXs and FDs on a real drive. But if you want historical perspective: I've got that.

A bit short notice not to mention a bit far for me. Hopefully some of the closer GTA guys can make it out.

3 of us made it. Great cruise.

It was a good mix. A handful of NSXs, an ITR, a Nismo 370Z, an S2000, 3 FDs and an aircooled 911.

I didn't take any. I didn't see HiWire taking any, but I could be wrong. I don't know the screen name of the other 7.

It was a good outing ..... thanks for the hookup!

We should start earlier next time, so much traffic today.

Good pic.

Agreed on traffic... it was a great cruise, but starting earlier will make for a cooler and quieter drive for sure. That said, the timing made sense for this excursion. It's hard to make it on time for people travelling longer distances, so starting the cruise an hour and a half after the start of the meet allows more people to trickle in. Also, I really liked that somebody was keeping track at the end of the convoy, to make sure we didn't get separated or lost.
