Cool I finally own a turbo rotary!

Ever since I've had my licence I've been driving a different RX-7 every year, which have all been N/A. They were a ton of fun, so reliable and still had enough power to get a 16 year old into trouble lol.

So this past week I went and bought this

Its an 87, pretty much all stock and all original. It has 153,000kms on it which is high for a JDM car. They have so many little options on them that we never got here in North America...at least none that I have seen before.
The drivers window will automatically go up and down by pressing the button once, power locks, all electronic heater control, folding mirrors, theres even a buzzer somewhere under the dash that goes off when your driving above 105km/h. (Something that I need LOL)

Its a pretty fun car to drive around by myself.....soooo many looks haha.

aww you lucky ***** - haha

Nice FC - I don't care what people say about RHD being unnecessary, I would kill to pull up to stop lights and get the stares of "where did the driver go?" or "how did he manage to drive here from Japan?" haha

I wanna see this puppy up close and personal when I come up for the engine!!

Buzzer over 105? Dude... find it, and put a resistor on it for cruising speed (like 140km/h) so it doesn't creep up on you on the highway.. It'd **** me off having it THAT low.

Jon

Edit: B-E-A-Utiful J-spec though..

Lates,
The JDM craze hasn't hit there yet? Tons of RHD JDMs here, to the point that if I see a LDH 300ZX, MR2 or 240SX/180SX/Silvia....I'm surprised. The FC3S is not that bad yet, but it's getting there, seen a few around already. I'm not too keen on driving a RHD car in a LHD enviroment, but I would definitely suffer if the right car came along (20B Cosmo w/manual conversion, Lancia Delta Integrale, Ford Escort Cosworth, Spirit R FD3S, TVR Sagaris...etc etc) and I had the bankroll to buy it

Oh BTW, what's up with the TurboII sticker on the fender on the red GX beside it?

I think the red GX beside it is infact a TII, now sporting 4 bolt wheels. And probably no engine. heh

Aha, that would explain the TII mirrors on it as well.

I'll definatly be around for the Bruce County meet, so if anyone wants to come check it out...be there!

Yes the Turbo car in the background is an actual Turbo car, it just has some 4 bolt front hubs bolted on for now

Yeah, that red TII should be sporting the standard 5 bolt configuration soon along with a 13B-RE--right Joe

That Red T2 will have 5 bolt hubs and a rebuilt 13B-RE.....as soon as I get parts

I got the car lowered today and put a set of aftermarket rims on it now. I'm going to Grand Bend on Friday to see what it will run, then I'm going to put my OS Giken lightweight flywheel and twin disc clutch in it and see what kind of difference it makes.
