Apparently the previouse owner of the car dumped it at a used car lot for a few bucks and then went back trying to buy it back for what he sold it but it was too late.

Maybe that'll clear the story up a bit??

Good that you are enjoying your car. I really drove my first gen the other day, for the first time in months, and it was a lot of fun too.

The low-end torque of that 6-port is sweet. Lots of tire spinning!!!!

Time to bug the crap out of Azad's neighbours again!!!!!!!

uh, wow, you really love that car eh? I remember driving my car 800km in a weekend; that was sooooo much fun. My objective was to get my car to tweak sideways. It was really a matter of how much I could handle; gotta love the Perelli tires. But now I blew it up so I gotta find a new engine; which will be cool to. But the rotary owns!

I love how great rotary stories always end with the lines:

"I blew it up"

"I gotta fix it"

"I need a new 'Insert Component Here' "

I think we love these cars so much because we arn't afraid to break them. I know Im not. It took alot of effort to pop my first 12A.

lmfao thats exactly it i think.. there is zero concern for breaking these cars.. very little can go wrong, an when it does it isnt really that bad to fix em, an engine rebuild on an rx is mildly less daunting then the smallest of 4 cylinders, and with a whoppin 10 piece engine, what can go wrong? i know i drive the wheels of my rex and just giggle to myself "when this breaks ill upgrade it".. the joys of owning a car that rides like a race car is you arent concerned about breakin it, just givs ya a reason to make it better.

I thought you were talking about sex. That was the only reason I clicked this tread.
