On an FC with Racing Beat Exhaust, you can cut a Pepsi can in Half and shove the Bottom of the can into the Exhaust Pipe Tips, and that will prevent any Critters makin a home in your Exhaust.
I pull the plugs and put in a squirt of oil.roll the engine over once, put plugs back in, and then disconnect the battery.
I leave the Battery IN the car though, hooked up to a Trickle charger, and once a week I plug it in.(car is close to the House)
The car is Covered with a Car Cover, then Wrapped in a 15x30 tarp.
Tires are Inflated to 40psi and car set onto Patio stones.
Under the car I put a sheet of plastic to make sure that any "crap' is not gonna touch the car. This year it will be on Gravel.(plastic anyways).
Note: the Oil that you put in the housings will be a benefit to you,as the car will have a good compression seal to start up.Roll it over about 3 times,Plugs out...Put plugs in and Start it up!
.that is My Method.
I like that Checklist though as I am starting to get ,,uh,,,,wah?............................uh,Ya that's it!....Forgetful!
I hope the Season was good to you and you have many more.
Cheers STYX!~

If it still has stock oil injection I would shy away from anything synthetic. 10w30 is fine for this time of year (cooler conditions), but in the summer I would run 20w50.

You can leave the battery in the car, but that is just asking for corrosion. It's only another minute to take it out and put it somewhere warm.

Racing Beat recommends Royal purple for highly modified engines as well. The synthetic vs regular oil debate is a overly beat on subject that doesn't matter as much as people talk about it. I personally have been using Royal purple 10W-40 for a few years now and every time I open my motor its clean as a whistle (even before I started doing water injection). I still use an OMP.

Use whatever turns your crank, just change it often. Going either way or recommending one over the other is just an opinion.

I am so Sorry I forgot Aaron's Link!.
I also fill the tank and put in Fuel stabilizer and change the oil before I store it.
The advantage of that is you can go for a drive to knock the cobwebs off it!,,haha.
CHECK your Coolant!..make sure that the Coolant is Sufficient to withstand the weather, unless the storage place is Heated.Just make sure you have adequate coolant for anywhere, really.

Don't worry about it. Just change it in the spring.

Conroy your garage makes me jealous every time I see it... either of them....

Mine gets to rot outside cause I'll be working on it all winter, and my dad wont let me rent half his garage... lol

I'm going to be tearing my REW down again in a few weeks, hoping the seals never the rotors or housing apart :P
