Hi All.

I'm looking for a little help, i drive a 93 FD, which just failed emissions. THe scores for HC, CO were well below the limit, but Nox is about 200 ppm over the limit. i've heard that faulty EGR or lean condition would do this. Does anyone have any experience with this, or recommend a shop?

Mods include cat-back, dp, efini Y and boost control.

 

What is the condition of your cat? I just failed twice about 2 weeks ago, but with a different setup. Mine was a problem with the PFC. What is the dilution count at the bottom. This will tell you if you are running lean etc.

 

not sure about my cat, but i'd bet it's never been replaced

but the dilution #'s show 14.1 @ 40kph and 13 on idle
