ON Heart for Hearth - Presented by Toronto Mazda 3

ALL MAZDA OWNERS are now invited to join us to break the world record and a chance to WIN AN ALL NEW 2014 MAZDA3!

So if you own a Protegé, RX-7, MPV ...or ANY Mazda, REGISTER NOW

Last September, Torontomazda3 members and friends came together for an Epic Photo Shoot in support of Hearth Place. The result was the epic picture below, and almost $10,000 raised for Hearth Place.

By popular demand, this September, Torontomazda3 is coming back to the Oshawa Municipal Airport for Heart For Hearth 2013. This year we have really big plans, and we hope you will join us.

On Sunday September 22nd, 2013 TorontoMazda3 (TM3) will host the largest gathering of Mazda's ever! We will be attempting to set a Guinness Record with 800 Mazda's of all shape and form, participating in a parade lap and photoshoot. The event will take place on the runways of the Oshawa Municipal Airport and will run in conjunction with the 5K On The Runway event, with both events raising funds to support the Hearth Place Cancer Care Centre in Oshawa. TM3 aims to raise over $20,000 in donations, including a $5000 donation from Mazda Canada.

Need more incentive to attend? How about a chance to win a three year lease on a 2014 Mazda 3?

Each car in attendance will receive a raffle ticket. At the end of the event, we will draw a ticket and one lucky attendee will win a three year lease on a 2014 Mazda 3!

We will also be hosting a separate raffle with tickets sold to raise money for Hearth Place. Prizes for this raffle will be announced at a later date.

I was interested, right up to the point where I saw that I would need to be in Oshawa at 6am.

Yes.. the start time is crazy early.
I don't know if people read the event info.
You literally have to be there for 6:10am latest. Or they won't let you in afterwards. And from what I hear, they're very sticklers for time. Since it is an airport and they need to get things operational again right after 1pm or so...

Yeah, so to get there by 5:30am, i would have to leave Milton around 4 or 4:15, which means i would need to get up around 3:30am. Wife would be most displeased.

I've already done the most mazdas on a race track during the Mitty a couple of years back when we were down at DGRR, so I'm still not sure what the promoters are shooting for. It's pretty hard to beat end to end Mazdas on the full Road Atlanta track?....... I'd say a thousand or so and I believe it's a Guiness record.
Oh! 6:00 am is nuts

It's mainly for charity. With the chance of winning a 3yr lease on a new 3. Otherwise it's an event to get the most mazdas out there to show support.
Gotta wake up pretty early to make it out to Oshawa for the start time.
