Does anyone know where to but T2 half shaft rebuild kits or where I can buy rebuilt ones with a core? approximate costs.

we used a place called Canadian Auto Electric - lots of locations and quick turn-around
http://www.canadianautoelectric.com/
A little expensive but they pick up and deliver.. maybe if you visit the location they'll give you a deal or something
edit: IIRC, average pricing was about 70-80 bucks for a rebuild? but don't quote me on that

i took it to a local shop in ottawa, the guy said that in 17 yrs he has only done 1 pair or half shafts, he checked mine out, put some new boots on them and out the door i went.

not sure what condition yours are in, but because the move way less, turn round as uposed to the joint actually moving side to side like fwd axles, they wear less.

my 2 cents.

They dont move way less..? Theyre constantly moving in and out and side to side. The whole point of the cv shafts is to allow for changes in the effective length of the shaft and to move with the wheel. Theyre used just as much if not more than a driveshaft.

I doubt youll find anything more than a boot kit..As long as sand and **** didnt get in there just repack it with moly cv lube and change the boots.

don't see why Napa wouldn't have them..maybe they wouldn't carry a Driveshaft, but CV axles..they should be able to get.
