You need to upgrade your fuel, your ignition, and the ecu/gauges.
Intercooler/rad if you haven't upgraded.
Then you need the actual turbo, manifold, wastedate, downpipe, exhuast if you don't have one, lines, just search the single turbo conversion section. There are a lot of threads of people "going single" builds to see what they did.
+ Labour if you aren't going to do it yourself...

I'd say more in the range of be ready to spend close to 10k for a stock FD, start to finish to not do a hackjob. It's not cheap but highly recommended due to better reliability and less engine bay heat. To get you an idea...
35R single turbo kit (Can range from $2,500 to $3,900) new
Powerfc ($800-$1000) + tune ($350-$400)
blow-off value (varies)
Greddy elbow ($140 new)
Upgraded Aluminum Radiator ($300-$400)
Intercooler (varies)
denso/supra fuel pump ($210-$300)
Fuel System (rail(s), injectors, FPR, lines, fittings, injector clips) ($580 - $1050)
hks twin power /w plugin harness ($420-$500 new)
boost controller (varies)
aftermarket clutch (varies)
block off plates ($50-$80)
oil catch can (varies)
spark plugs (oem 9's or something like the greddy racing plugs)
highflow cat or midpipe (recommended)
Rewire fuel pump directly to the battery with a relay
Possibly:
fuel pump filter if never changed
If you only have 1 oil cooler, you need to upgrade to dual R1 oil coolers or aftermarket duals
Water injection kit (not required but highly recommended)
Some gauges (fuel pressure or wideband recommended at least)
aftermarket exhaust if still stock
Of course there is shipping + customs if ordered from the states or inflated Canadian prices + tax. And the cost of labor to install it all which is going to be in the $1,000-$2,00 range at least going from a stock FD unless you do it yourself. That's all I could think of, off the top of my head, there might be other little things missing.
Not meaning to be a downer but you need to be prepared.

Similar turbos would be the Precision billet 6265 which also has a 62mm compressor and should actually make more power with similar response. Price range for a kit from A-spec for example would be $2275 for non-ball bearing and $2950 for ball bearing. The billet 6265 is the best bang for the buck imo.
