Grabbed another bumper :D
I was talking to someone and next thing you know he told me he had a bumper he had bought years ago for something and never ended up using it! If I am correct, its an RE- Amemiya Facer bumper and I can't lie, the fitment is AMAZING and doesn't touch the headlights when they open thank god I also have the turn signals which aren't included in the photos as they are practically brand new in box!
I plan to use this bumper for part of an aero build by adding a larger splitter and what not and when I head to track events or lapping days, I can slip this one on so I don't have to worry about damaging my R1 lip anymore After I am done with paint, it will look CRAZY on the front. I just want to create some 2 way LED signal markers for the turn covers to really modernize it. It also does clear my fogs when I remove the middle piece duct in the center. (It's actually designed to remove!). also will black out the meshes to make it look cleaner.
OR
I could sell it to someone who is really interested but then again they are pretty uncommon to see over here.
Oh yeah, the way I brought it home was pretty funny too, ill just post that for giggles too
Yeah it fit I swear I fit so much into this car, I thought that the FC's were bigger, I even get the snowboard to clear inside like cheese

Congrats! Can't wait to see it mounted and painted.

Custom made the brackets to fit onto the stock rails and it still slides perfect. Probably the greatest upgrade next to the tires last year
After I get it painted and set up, I can't wait to see how it looks with the RE wheel setup.
Last year I got the FD to finally look like this
I need to do a serious photo shoot if I end up going to Deals Gap

Well! I started cleaning her up and noticed that the bumper has a few "nicks" that had to be taken care of...
^^^ Looks pretty bad eh
Filled before I primed it
Seeing how the middle section of the bumper is removable, I decided to paint it black to speed things up.
There is a local event I might want to hit up and I'm pushing to get it done this week just for the event considering there is not any snow to damage it. I test fitted it on today again and realized that I need to start thinking of how I will set up my turn signals because if I do indeed go LED, then I need to start sourcing some circuit boards or possibly take some spare fc signal assemblies and modify then to fit inside... I still can't get over how the fogs clear and not to mention, those two circle vents are fully functional and I'll be ducting them for maximum efficiency

I managed to get the bumper on Sunday but simply have had zero time to take photos due to this cold weather, work, and classes bombarding me leaving me with only time at night
I took this photo right before it started getting dark and tried to brighten it but instead lost quality
Car isn't washed and the salty residue on the hood is making it look all white and crap.
I also managed to modify the fogs to clear the inside center piece in exchange for for not putting back the removable centerpiece
I heard there is a complete N-1 Facer kit lurking around T.O. so if the price is right, I might as well go N-1 Facer all around but will potentially use FEED skirts just cause they won't be so low to the ground.

What's going on with the right headlight?

Long story short last weekend, an 18 wheeler trailer dropped a block of ice which somehow landed on my right side headlight and cracked it pretty badly It actually bent the headlight assembly which I spent HOURS aligning so it didnt scrap the fender or hood
They are carbon fibre covers and the right side one has a functional vent that I had setup to duct fresh air into my ARC air box or my apexi twin intakes. It was an experimental setup me and my old man played with last year in order to try and maximize the potential and life span of the twins as keeping them cool is priority number one! I never got to try it out on the road because I actually forgot about them till I found them in the garage on Sunday.
It beats running the car on the track without a headlight cover and they are MUCH more stronger than the plastic ones which are pretty brittle.
Guess I'll be looking for another pair of OEM covers OR the Evo-R headlights! (That is when I save enough)
