Wish I had pictures, but you'll just have to take my word for it :P
Today I bought a 1975 Mazda B1800. All stock, one owner. 74,000 miles.
it's pretty similar to my old b2200 diesel (which was an '84). I think the '84 rode better, but the '75 is in WAY better shape overall. Much less rusty, and much less worn out too. It's neat though, in 9 years they change very little, engineering wise. One big advantage the '84 had, was power disk brakes, this has manual drums, on all 4. Real crappy. Takes like 50LB of force to gently slow down. I wouldn't even dream of towing with this thing.
It's got a pretty neat engine in it, it's a 1.8L OHC, aluminum head... high-tech for a '75 pickup! The carb (which is a 1bbl) has a giant (like 2X3") sight glass on the side, so you can see the floats in action. And a huge, complex mechanical throttle linkage. No cable. It's slow as *****, too. I'm thinking 70HP range. And it's a 4 speed. Geared for towing. 90kph sounds like about 3500RPM.
The dash is half steel, and body color... really neat. Truck is white, with a black interior. Paint is a little rough and I'm missing some reflectors, but otherwise it's not in too bad shape. I don't think it's been winter driven, even underneath is pretty clean for a 32 year old truck.
Maybe one day it'll get a rotary swap (since it's basically a piston powered REPU)
