Found a ****

Found this really old shift **** at a car show/swap meet in my area.
The guy I purchased it from said he had it since around 1979. I wonder
if this was an RX-7 accessory?

Self Tapping Thread/ if existing thread is not the same size and the diameter is close in size then it will cut its own thread.
Good enough to hold a shifter **** on the gear shifter.
