RB -10 AN line fitting adapters
. It's a pretty subtle looking car except for a few key elements that stick out and say this car ain't so stock anymore. The 5" tach mounted on the cowl will be one of those elements.
Thanks for all your help on the project Darryl and for giving me the confidence to try that porting on my own. It turned out quite well I must say. With a bit of tuning, I should be able to get it to idle at 1000rpm! Unheard of for a bridgeport, but it does sound nice idling at 1500........

I'm still on track to have it at Sherway this month, and for sure I'll be bringing it to the swap meet. I just have to find a way to bring my parts as well. I would love to take this car to DGRR. I was eyeing up that first place old school trophy this year already.

The car is going back to the body shop tonight to have the front sheet metal put on. Friday it goes to have the exhaust made. I'll post more pictures at some point while that work takes place. I had a training course last night so I didn't get to do anything with it.

On another note, I pulled the Rx-4 up to the gas pumps infront of my work just now. ( I have the car at work currently). I got quite a number of WTF looks as I drove it up and away. The open header really caught their attention.

Hey Bryon,
glad to see the engine worked out for you . Those "Mazda Automobiles" housings must look sweet painted up . The guy I bought it from here in the 'peg would be real happy to see where it ended up .
did you keep the stock rad / oil cooler / tranny I sent you as well ?
Did the you toss the Block heater ?

I still have all of the parts. The block heater did get tossed. I used the radiator but not the stock oil cooler. I opted for the bigger and better shape FC oil cooler I had laying around. It looks really nice peaking out through the notch I made in the front bumper.

Thanks, it won't be going anywhere anytime soon that's for sure. It's really funny too how the plan changes and adapts as the build goes on. I originally planned on just fixing the mechanical issues with the car, dropping in a S4 13B with a megasquirt and driving it around. Not quite a year later, and the car is nowhere close to what I had in mind at first. The plan changes were definitally for the better though.

I already called dibs on the back seat on Saturday!
That's one sexy looking engine crane, if it wasn't for the crane who knows where the project would be! I pick up that keg on Saturday. They will be ready to be torn down on Sunday...say hey to Brian for me when you head down tomorrow...can't wait to see, hear and ride in the car!
