FMIC off of ebay?
Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone has bought, or know anyone who has bought, an intercooler off of ebay. Some of them are going really cheap, and brand new. Just wondering if anyone knows the quality of this things? Here is an example:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FMIC-...54150371QQrdZ1
I cant really afford something like GReddy, but I dont really like having the stock one still.
Any advice?
Thanks,
Dan

bear in mind that the cooler is only a drop in the bucket...
The biggest thing that you get with the greddy kit aside from a MONSTER I/C is the throttle body elbow and piping
You caneasily spend anoth 200-300cdn on pipes and couplers, welding and fab and then have that stock zig zag elbow...
I am going with a custom core (can be had for a pinch more then the ebay cooler) from Boost Motorsports, custom piping (I can *kinda* weld al. so we'll see how it goes... and one of Higgi's FMIC elbows...all in all the whole schemozel will run me just shy of 700 bucks time Im all said and done...
Suddenly the Greedy (not a spelling error) kit doesn't seem to far out of line for a bolt in product....
As far asthose ebay cooelrs go, they are good for what they are, meanign they ARE new and they won't leak, but by no means should you expect to buy that and slap some pipes on for a couple hundred and call it a day...IMHO anyways

I can get you intercoolers cheap. Check out streetimports or yonaka.com and figure out what size you want. Being a distributor for yonaka I get killer deals. For example the seats on there site I am selling for less then that in CND dollars
