Ive only found about 2... which were both out of my price range.
wondering if anyone could help me find something decent in the area.

well, im basically willing to spend around 15-20k CAD.. the classic price range..
my friend's friend just offered me a killer deal for a '93 white <50km for only 15k..
but then some guy offered him 24k
talk about good luck goin sour..
but yah, if you guys know any good deals around. give me a pm or something.. it would be greatly appreciated.
Jaymez.. im currently looking into one in oregon.. im just worried about the compression.. but if its cheap enough, ill buy it anyways.

If your looking for a "solid" FD for two years it seems you would be in the mint price range. but your lookin at the $15-$20g's. (ya you will still find a nice one at 18-20g's)
Im sorry but IMO if you want a solid one its going to be 20g's and up. Then you mention about possibly buying one with bad compression, but only if it is cheap enough. If you want cheap, your not going to get a "solid" FD.
If you have been looking for two years and came across one with 50k, for only 15g's, you should have went to the bank that day. And if it was closed, camped out at the front doors till it opened the next day. LOL

trust me, if i could pull a few more g's out of my pockets i would.
i did!.. i had the money ready and everything, then some guy outbidded me the next day for 24k!.. like wtf?.. my heart was broken..
Jaymez, yah.. i was looking at it. and it seems no one has made an offer plus its close by. I was thinking as that one as a possibility.

I have never seen one for sale in Winnipeg.
I was lucky and saw one in Toronto for sale. I wasn't even looking to buy one or even really knew what it was exactly, but I had to have it.
If money is tight don't buy an FD.
or buy one cheap like Alak said and fix it up. If I were to do it again I would buy one with a blown motor and build it up as a single turbo.
Money pit is an understatement with these cars if you plan on doing any mods!
Be careful and good luck

love the braaaap
Not to say any **** about the FD, but I have heard nothing but bad things about their reliability. Your better off looking for a mint condition 10th AE FC or somthing similar for 10K. Much more reliable and less money to start with. With the extra 10g's you'll save, you could easily put a TII in the same league as a FD.
But I shouldn't be talking. I'm just a simple FB owner that hates rotary FI systems with a passion and thinks the FB is the best RX-7. We are usually cheap bastards too.
