Can you change me to a "Maybe" because I may not have the car ready in time. I found an oil drip/leak last night and it looks like it's coming from the oil pan or rear turbo return. I'll try to narrow it down this weekend and see where the oil is coming from. I just don't want to show up with a car that leaking oil all over the place.

No problem, hope you can get it sorted. If it turns out to be the oil pan, I wouldn't think it would be a deal breaker for the tune. Leaky pans are quite common.

Have you had the engine mounts unbolted from the engine recently? That often breaks the seal of the oil pan apparently

Sorry guys but I'm out. I went for a drive today and the wipers, windows, and starter all stopped working all of a sudden. Car won't start now unless I push start it so I've got to track down that electrical issue as well as the oil leak.

You sure, its still 5 weeks away. Lots of time to troubleshoot. I wouldn't give up just yet.

If u have aftermarket wheels check your front left wheel well. Common problem tires rub into the body harness.

I will try but it's looking grim at the moment.

I will check the wiring loom next time that I have some time to work on the car.

The car is running 16x8 wheels and 225/50/16 tires. It is not lowered much with lots of room between the tire & fender liner. I set the car up so that it wouldn't rub even on our terrible roads with 6" deep pot holes.

When I got the car last year, the previous owner had "slammed" it. I inspected the wiring loom in the fenders (thankfully there was no damage), replace both fender liners, added coilovers, and raised the car a good 2"-2.5".

Sounds like a plan. I'll FB you when I can get some time. Meanwhile, I'll start checking things.

I'm in. Just message me the details. The convertible needs to get finished one way or another. I don't check the forum much, no time, so FB or text.

Thanks. I haven't heard anything from him yet. Hopefully he'll be joining the fun.

Marco's flight is booked. He arrives at 3:00pm on Friday June 9th and is leaving on Sunday June 11th at 6:50pm.

The cost of the flight came to $426.55.

We should be able to get 1 or 2 cars tuned on Friday. Who would like to go Friday?

Yeah I don't think I can do Friday - have to get a trailer and such to bring it in. I could do Sunday first thing tho, so I have time to cook everything for the BBQ on Saturday afternoon.

I'm probably going to need as much time as possible , still trying to get it together but it's looking doubtful.

Hopefully you can get it ready to go. If there's only a few odds and ends left holding it up, you should bring it down. Many hands make lite work.
