Forget it. I'm just under six feet and graze the headliner. Anyone else?

Depends on the guys proportions. I'm 6'2"ish and I fit with tons of head room and just enough room to stretch my legs out completely. There's definitely more leg room than head room, so someone with a long torso and shorter legs will find head room tight.

The non sunroof models have more headroom. The 94-95 seats also go back further one extra click than the 93's.

i'm 6'3", mostly leg tall and i can settle into it pretty good.
granted i have a 93 touring so apparently there are roomier models.

Im 6'0 average build and I slip into an FD just right. The seat doesnt seem to go as far back in JDM models so its discomforting after a short while.

6'6 might be a bit of a stretch. But theres only one way to find out!

buy a supra.

I'm 5'11" and don't fit very well with my helmet on, I don't think you'd even come close with 7" on me.

+1 that it will depend on proportions - in my FC, I just fit at 6'3 with my helmet, but others a couple inches shorter don't. I'm disproportionately legs, while a good friend is 6'1 and long in the torso, and doesn't fit so well. I'd be surprised if 6'6" in an FD works either way, but don't really know.

I'm 6'3" 220lbs and I just squeeze in.
I have the sunroof, so wearing a helmet is problematic.
I have long legs, so I have to basically straddle the steering wheel, which causes some nerve-tingles after 2 hours driving...basically my butt falls 'asleep' and it is not comfortable..I have to stop and stretch, or, god forbid, use the cruise control.

well.. man.. i'm 6'4'' ish, and got a long leg
but there's a trick.. lol
(right hand drive)..
if you put left leg in deep first and get into a car, it's much easier..
and don't worry about the space or something
you'll be able to fit in there perfectly man

I'm 6'3, with long legs, so getting past the steering wheel is a challenge, but once I'm in I'm good. (rhd FD)

i actually had an idea in regards to this obvious height shortage.
if someone were to bolt the seat directly to the floor that would give more head room, would it not?
my only concern about this would be that this could reduce leg room, which would more definitely suck.

I don't recommend an FD for 6'4 and up, you won't be comfortable at all...

I think fc is a lot roomier than fd...
if you are too tight in an fd...may be try an fc...(they are cool car too).

FC'S are the ****.

6'6 is MASSIVE for an FD, thats like Shaq driving a Smart Car.
Okay maybe not quite that bad, but ****** close.

Buy it, Just drive with your head peaking out the sunroof.
lol!!!

Jokes aside, I bet you could squeeze in there once you learn how! lol

I bet shaq fits better in a smart car than a 6'6" in an FD.. smart cars are huge inside, and really tall.

FC's are better cars anyways, and definatly have a ton more space inside.

if you /must/ have an FD though, I'd consider lowering the driver's seat to gain more room. but at 6'6" it may still not be enough, you might have to take the seat out totally lol.

After reading the last three posts….I feel stupid, should have bought a FC. I have let friends track my car and over 6ft. tall and they never complain...

its so'kay jim,
if someone asked me to trade a FD for my FC t2.
I'd say yeah,
so I could sell the FD and buy a 1991 T2. XD
and mod the **** out of it!
