Best run for me was 12.75 @ 113, on street tires with a little bit of a burnout. Typically my 60 foot times were around 2 seconds, give or take 0.1 seconds. But all night I was fighting a slipping clutch and of course the lack of traction. Once the air cooled down there was no point...I was running low 13s again after several runs in the high 12s.

drag tires and a beefy clutch would make a huge differance.
you should just go all out and get 10.5x26x16 et streets hahaha i wish i had a pair
Im pretty much done drag racing for now, I've been workin on getting it all retuned with megasquirt. I want to atleast go to one time attack event this year i've had a set of r comps waiting to go on

First time out for me with the no-soul RX7 (2nd last vid - most of that V8 sound isn't coming from that Firebird...) - best of 13.1 @110 with 2.2 60' for the night.

Nice meeting you Aaron and Derrick!

Yep, about 500 RWHP. Trying to put that power down through 215/17s. Good times. I was only running low boost that night because there wasn't much point, so the car was only putting down just over 400 RWHP. On the list for the spring is a non-slippy clutch and a set of slicks.

But I think my best 60' of the night was just off of 2 seconds (2.02...something) which is pretty damn good for any street tire!

St. thomas in the past has been all about getting traction. I've run 13 second times in a ~500hp rx7 there too :P
