Terrh: Well, if you are interested, we've got a pretty nice cabin down the road. We're planning to get in Thursday, head down to the Mitty on Sunday morning, then back to the cabin Sunday night and head home Monday morning. Drop me a PM if you are interested and want the details.

RXeckless: I'm #2 on the list (after Phil) on his RotaryCarClub thread for the Mitty caravan. Was always part of my plan for this trip, so this makes it even better.

Confirmed, my cabin is up for grabs if someone wants it.
It's a treehouse cabin so it could sleep upto 5 people in theory (or 6 if you're sharing the master bedroom).

PM me if you want it.

yah, sorry I won't be making it out. Technical difficulties. Plus my parents are going back home for a month during that time and I'm stuck babysitting the sis.

Chad D. has offered to do the T-shirts @ $20. PM him if your interested eg: size/colour/back front. Personally, I like the black with the logo on the back IMHO, may look good in green and read too.

others can PM me and I'll add you to the list.

I believe these shirts will work as a good "where's waldo" shirt at the Rallye

I've still got a bit of a list for the car myself. Fortunately the snow in the back lot is melted so I have some room to work. I got the perches welded onto the new struts and the old ones pulled apart. They just need to be painted and reassembled. Waiting on some turn in spacers to show up. Then I have to adjust the control arm mounting position, install the MSD, which requires rethinking the mount. Install the coils. Buy and make 2 new spark plug wires. Alignment/corner balance, oil change and with any luck get it on the dyno. Then a good interior and engine bay cleaning. Was going to install some louvers in the hood but have decided to wait until I get the new front bumper I want. Luckily I'm off from Sunday to Wednesday before we leave so I'll have plenty of spare time to get it all done.

Forgot to mention I plan to head up to Winnipeg after so I might just take off on my own on Sunday. It's a bit of a long haul and I want to get as far as I can on Sunday and hopefully make it the rest of the way on Monday.

So how far will you get Thursday night? And where do you crash...I mean sleep? Do you just decide to whip into a Holiday Inn and grab a bunch of rooms?

Pretty much. I'm just planning on driving as far as we feel comfortable to go, and then just pull off at a half decent looking hotel. Then head out the rest of the way the next day.

that was my initial plan (leaving on wednesday, arriving on thursday) but apparently thats the young way of thinking, the old folks want to do it in a day, so a day that i should be partying turns into a day of driving
