I was lucky enough to be beside Jim for most of his runs and let me tell you, this man can drive! when he wasnt swearing at the marshalls, congratulations to Jim!!! thanks for the ride alongs!!! Best time was when Jim and Marco were racing together....heavy weights i tell ya. And cant wait to see the in-car vid!!!!
It was nice seeing you guys again, Paul, love the LS!!! and for the guys that drove up from kitchener and bruce county area definitely a cool bunch!

I did a 1:20 in the time attack which had dried more the most part after having done 1:23-24 during the lapping in the wet. Missed my first lapping session because teching takes 10 minutes a car apparently?
I had a little bit of fun during the session with Jimmy and passing that vintage v8 car that dragged me and Jim down the straight. Just as I started pulling on him he braked to let us by at the flagging station lol.
Though I'm not sure I'm going to do CSCS next year. It's just not worth it.

Don't forget me on the Calabogie
. I won't mind going again. Thats a fun track.
On another note, my turbo felt a little laggier then normal this track day. I'm going to have it inspected in the winter. Or maybe its because I ran without the blanket.

Very nice, finally got some pics of my suspension in action. Looks like I need to upgrade my front sway bar, I shouldn't have that much body roll on the front with 900 pound springs. I suspected as much since I felt a sort of lag on the front but wasn't sure and learned to drive around it anyway. Thanks for the pics!

Lap times are now up, remember Paul the track was wet when we did the SSRWD

http://cscs.ca/content/view/78/118/Anyhow nice times!!!
Super Street rwd, tire tread ware is 50 or more ( I used RA1's...100 tread ware)
Unlimited rwd, tire tread ware is 40 or less (I used Hoosiers....40 tread ware)
There are other small factors set out in the rules as well, for the unlimited class all most anything goes (full race cars are common place)

Ian, your car would be in the Super Street RWD at least and Unlimited if you use a softer compond tire.
I guess for the first time back to that track in 5 years 1:30 isn't that bad. My tires have a tread wear rating of 300, I don't think that helps either, time to get me some real tires.
