BCM Fall Tour

It's been talked about in years past. This year, it's gonna happen! The annual Bruce County Meet will have a part two tour: BCM '09 Fall Tour. Date is TBU. My goal is to try and time it so that we can enjoy the trees changing colour. That would put it in late September or early to mid October. My place will again be offered up for people to stay. Basically, this thread is to garner and gather interest and input.

Let me know your thoughts.

I'd love to come but I've got lots going on right now so I can't commit to any dates. Mid-October or later is probably best for me.

Fall Cruise

I would like to do a fall cruise. When the leaves turn would be best.
What ever date that starts to happen we will see.

I'll be there as always. The FC is still hanging in there so why not beat it to a pulp one more time. Hopefully it's in one peice after the king of the hill races this weekend.

I'm also going to try to at least have the Rx-4 running by cruise time. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll be able to take it for a quick rip. At the very least we'll be able to hear it roar out it's nasty side pipe exhaust.

I'm interested. But it depends on the date. Have you got an idea of the starting point, the route and the ending point? Coming from London, I need to know how long of a day it will be.

Starting point will be Chesley On. We did roughly about a 350km route and ended it back in Chesley. It's a full day cruise. Start time depends on how much we party the night before. Usually ends up being between 10 and 11am.

There have been a few heavy frosts this past week which means the leaves will be changing soon. I would guess within the next two to three weeks sometime. Any ideas Brian?

Also I should add, I can do a cruise up to Chesley from Kitchener. I'm living in Kitchener right now while I'm at trade school. So if anyone from the KW, Guelph area is planning on attending we could meet somewhere and I can lead the way to Chesley.

Indeed they are changing, but they aren't the beautiful vibrant colours that they should be yet. The trees are still 75% green up this way. It'll be soon though. I will get in touch with Bass and try and get an idea of a date for everyone.

Update for everyone. I was in touch with Bass and he is thinking the weekend of the 23rd, 24th, and 25th of October will be cruise date. Check your calendars and chime in with a response if you are still interested. That way we have an idea if people are still interested in going.

Bring her along. The scenery will be beautiful.
If you can make it just for the cruise on saturday you are more than welcome to come. We are usually finished by about 5:00 or 6:00pm. Head home right after and spend saturday night and all day sunday with her.

That would be nice but we are celebrating her 30th, and end of a long 6 month medical treatment. She has invited an army of people. I think I will be cleaning the house and putting on the smiley supportive husband look.

This particular weekend is conflicting with the GTA meet at Sherway on Saturday Oct 24 and the C7 tour on Sunday Oct 25.
Is rescheduling possible? Maybe a week sooner, rather than later. The leaves might be gone by November and some people put their cars away in November, too.
What do you think?

The date is conflicting, but it all depends on what Bass' schedule is like. He is the one that is hosting the event.
