Coilover strut rebuilders?

I'm looking to buy a set of coilovers and have come across a couple different sets, JIC, Cusco ect..... that have blown struts. Is there any place here in Ontario to get them rebuilt?

Thanks

scroll down to the Canada section.
you can call and see if any of those southern Ontario dealers take the strut for rebuild (or send them away)...

I would think any race shop that does custom valving could possibly do it. It's the rings that go bad when a strut blows. Or the valve took a dump.

Try CSC racing or try Bicknells. Failing that send it to Koni in USA, they will pretty much know or can how to rebuild any shock absorber ever made.

I just called Andy at Neetronics and he said they would just send them back to JIC to get properly rebuilt. He had no idea about the cost though.

But with a little more research I've found that inserts can be bought for them. Still not sure exactly how much or where from!!

Did you try finding some of the CASCAR shops that do race fabrications and custom work? A shock is really just a shock, it's not rocket science.

I'm not real sure if they can be dissasembled and "rebuilt"....I think the only way is to get these inserts for them.

Did you call Tein? I know people who have had their Teins rebuilt. Tein in CA is the only place that will rebuild them. Outside of Tein Japan of course.
Joe, call JIC yourself, they will give you a quote.
