hi classicauto,

good thread, i was wondering I had the idea my car has good paint but some clear coat is peeling out.

What would you suggest in this instance.

i was thinking wetsand and reclear, if you agree this is the way to go do you have a rough idea on cost off this job in an 1988 TII

If not what do you suggest is required.

Wow, sorry I missed that post.

My suggestion would be to strip the affected panels, actually. The only time a wetsand and re-clear is really an option is if its over existing (good) paint. To try to feather all the peeling edges would be a nightmare. Much further ahead t ojust strip the old stuff off and start fresh. As for a cost, I'd really have to take a look at it in this case.
