Car trailer rental sources
rant /on
I just got hung up by U-Haul (Weston) after having repeatedly answering their questions about what I'm towing with ('05 Ram) and again repeatedly anwering what I want to haul ('85 7)!
I thought that she would ask me the colour of the truck and the car at one point.
It took the nice lady 15 minutes to tell me that yes I can do it with either the dolly or the trailer.
BUT all I was asking is IF they have a car trailer in the yard... I even suggested that she look up to see out the window and tell me if she sees one...
She finally tells me that her computer shows that they have one, so then I try to confirm pricing ($86) on a one way rental. She decides that she now needs my name to complete some form. I kindly reminded her again that this was long distance call and that it did take her 15 minutes to tell me what was in her yard and refused to answer any more of her questions.
My thinking was that now I would be asking the questions so that I could speed up this process. But she just kept on asking my name over and over and over again. I thought that my phone was dead and that she was not hearing me. Finally she hung up on me.
rant /off
Funny thing is, I'm sure she thinks I'm the assh*le in this!
So anyways, does anyone have any leads on a trailer I can rent. I am in Windsor and going to Toronto to pick up the car and coming right back to Windsor.
Oh yes, before I forget, the truck is grey and the car is light brown (uh?)

That's where I started, but the on-line system seems to be setup for just a few locations and with a little searching I found locations that were much closer to the car I want to pick up. After driving 4 hours one way to the car, I don't want to drive another hour to pick up the trailer.
And besides, I wanted to confirm what I found out and discover anything I did not think about, after all, they are in the BUSINESS. But instead I came across the one person that is in ...training...

Oh well. If I had a trailer I'd lend it to you... but I don't... Sorry!

I should clarify that I hit the rent button from the main menu which gives access to only a few locations. You can also hit the rent button from each individual location when in the search for a location area. I didn't try that one.

They're the rotarheads that rent out garage space on Kew?
I can't remember too much about them...
But I pulled this up:
2795 Kew Drive,
Windsor, ON N8T 3B7
Tel. : 519-945-9349
I just sent out an email...
