Can anyone contact this guy?

Hey Guys,

I know I saw a thread about this somewhere before, but I dont' remember what happened.

Can anyone contact smnc (spencer)?

I paid him $65 on Nov 1st of last year for some parts. Then he just dissapeared off the face of the earth. I've been patient, waited 5 months, but haven't heard anything from him. Can't PM him, no response to emails, nothing.

$65 isn't really a HUGE amount but it's the principle of the thing. I either want my money or my parts, I don't really care either way, I just need one or the other. I don't just randomly give people $65 for no reason.

Does anyone know how to contact him? I know he used to sing praises about CP, he lived not too far from there and frequented the place a lot. Anyone in that area know?

His last activity on the forum (the *day* before I paypall'd him):
Last Activity: 10-31-05 09:21 PM

His wife's last activity on the forum (much more recent):
Last Activity: 02-22-06 08:00 PM

Though I can't find anything she's posted sine last year.

Jon

Last I talked to him he was about to move. I think that was last Oct. That's when he dropped out of sight. I really hate to put another member on the spot, but I know somebody who used to have regular contact with him. I'll pm him and if he's willing to get in the middle (which to be honest I wouldn't blame him if he didn't want to), I'll get him to pm you.

He also used to have a domain. It was smnc.ca I prowled that site, and came up with an info page that lists msn and emails contact info. Here's the link.

Sorry guys!

I had a serious car accident right after we moved into our new place (and no, it wasn't MY fault this time).

I got t-boned right in the driver's side of my VW Rabit beater when a guy ran a red light.

I don't want to go into too many details, but suffice to say, between the hospital and rehab, it was not a fun few months.

Anyways, that's all in the past, and I'm back (more a less) to normal now, and realize that I left a few people hanging.

I'll be going though my pm's and e-mails and try to start making amends for any problems I've caused.

Jon, I've got you at the top of my list. Your package has been sitting on the top of my pile in the in-laws garage, addressed and ready to go for 5 months. I'll pm you shortly.

Sorry again,
-smnc

Hey smnc, Glad to hear you are OK. Good luck on getting back to 100%.
Are you still toiling at Tim's?

I *knew* it had to be something like that. You and Sarah seemed way too nice when I met you to be the kind of folks to just up and dissapear!

Sorry to hear about the accident Spence. Hope things are going better for ya. I've got a bunch of bad news of my own in another thread, but at least my two accidents weren't major!

Nope, left Tim's just before Ottawa last year...
I'm near 100% now. Just mostly down to strength training to build back muscle...
Thanks!

Jon, sorry to hear it... I'll read up as I get all caught up.
