ok,
So far Tyler has helped me out alot! I recieved an e-mail today from them. However, they offered me my money back. Call me crazy, but I dont want my money, all I want is what I paid for. I do apologize for causing drama, and starting another CP bashing thread, but the truth is that I needed a reaction and reply...and that exactly what Ive gotten. Now I can only hope that they make good and ship out my lights as I am in desperate need of them

Andres

^^You have nothing to apologize about, but do yourself a favour and take the money.

We are not out of nor or we going out of business, we are by appointment only now. We do not normally post online, but felt we should make an exception based on Tyler's visit and his friends concern. Everyone gets their parts, sometimes quicker than others. Aaron is in the know, which the rest of you posters are not, which is why he is able to cut the fat from the misinformation posted. We will not post in this thread again, so taunting, calling out and crazy assumptions are best saved for another time. Regards,

So which lights are you going to ship him Mr.Chris? One of the pieces of crap that was on my car that you managed to cut up? Or is the same set of leaking/nonfitting Pieces of **** that you tried to give me back as replacements which where now dragged across the shop floor (as in scratched and beaten)and clearly nothing done to them? This was after making me drive 1-1/2 hours to orangeville which you managed to not show up even after talking to me minutes before,a complete and utter lier.I wasn't going to post my experience for the simple fact of embarrasment to have been taken, but I just may post pics of the garbage you sell and my experience with your bussiness ethics.

Point being that the thread is specifically about a person asking for help obtaining a product from CP. Aaron knows Chris very well and has his ear. Instead of speaking to the issue at hand he chooses to defend CP's reputation on a point that is secondary in the thread. Why not speak to their apparently poor business practise rather than try and clarify exactly which year of butchered Tuner transformation cars they work on.
I did this very purposely to correct a small bit of insignificant misinformation that had nothing to do with the transaction. I have no part of this transaction and it would be in rather poor taste for me to butt my head in where it didn't belong. In the past I have commented in these topics and even if I take a lighthearted stance it always blows up in my face. Life is too short and as I have grown very tired of the politics in the DeLorean world I do not wish to take part in them here.

As for my reputation, I don't really care. People can and I'm sure do say what they will about me...comes with the territory of doing things differently.

The thread starter was asking for help, I really don't think he would have been upset about you helping him. But I am sure he really appreciates you correcting that small bit of misinformation. Shame the thread is full of lots of other accurate information about poor business practices that don't get even get a response.

I don't have the time to drag up the threads where you have gotten yourself involved in rotary shop politics on this forum but you know what I am talking about. The fact that you have is not consistent with your above statement, which leaves myself and others to conclude that you actually approve of CP's poor business ethics.

That my friend is very clear.

Well I think it will be nice to see a positive story for a change out of one of these threads, so I hope the mods don't close this thread till we hear proof of the thread-starter getting his money or parts.

My correction was directed to the individual who's post I quoted.

Which is why I have decided since then to not involve myself in those topics. People can read whatever they want into this since no matter what is said it is always interpreted differently based on who is doing the interpretation. The last one I posted in was the infamous "Danny Manning" thread at which point I made this decision.

Jump on the hate CP bandwagon?
im pretty sure it started with us.
I just find its funny how often issues of poor service arise with CP. No other shop can match it.

Chris, you are simply a poor businessman with poor quality products. You have ZERO Business principals and have no idea how to mangage peoples money, and your time.
I am suprissed you can even come on the forum and defend yourself, you have NO defense. Your shop has moved 100 times since you began doing business. Can ou explain why? No need to.... How many people you rip off for rent/ Lease?

I can only pray you go out of business soon. That would be doing yourself, and others a favor.

Chris K.

I'll say that I hope CP will do the right thing, but I'm not yet convinced that they will.

I just find its funny how often issues of poor service arise with CP.
I hate to say it, but I agree. I've seen more negative threads about CP in this section than any other shop.

Nevertheless, the point has been made, guru (Chris I believe?) has seen and responded. This thread can only get worse from here. I'm going to close the thread, and I would encourage guru to contact tcrown420 via PM or email so that you can sort this out.

Another thread gets added to the searchable material and will hopefully serve as a reference for people.
