AB Calgary meet?

There is cruising at the dub this thursday night August 25th at the A&W on Barlow Trail & 39th Avenue NE. It is a MS fundraiser where a % of money spent at A&W goes to the cause. There will be some miata's so it would be good to see a healthy Mazda showing.

Anybody interested in a calgary rx7 meet and perhaps cruise to cochrane??

Only dates out for me are sept 3 and sept 25.

Perhaps we could motivate a few to join in attending the high river car show on Sept 25. I know of 3 or 4 rx7 coming already. Nice to have a few grouped together, with enough planning we could maybe have a group presentation.
This is a great car show and it encompasses the downtown streets of High River rather than stuffing everyone in a park. Lots to see.

That is if anybody else still has an rx7 in Calgary, the group has certainly diminished over the years...

Well, I'm still here and I'd be up for either the Cochrane or High River deals.
As for some of the other 'older' crew, the FC3S site is down, so don't know if any of them check here or not.
High River isn't too far from Black Diamond, so you never know....would be nice to meet up with the '7man' and see where his projects are at.

I didn't know there was a nice car show in High River. Still here with a 7, but with a brand new baby haven't had time for taking the car out this summer.

No one showed up for Tim Hortons, so lets hope somebody else will venture to High River. Could meet at Tim Hortons in High River so we all show up together and park together. I know of 2 for sure, but they are both mine.

Hey Ed!

You won't recognize this username but you'd recognize the face behind it

Lots of the old crew still around, most got sick of the BS over here. If you want to see what we've been up to over the last few years throw me a private message and we'll see if we can't meet up. Lots of new projects, I think you might be surprised the level one "7man" has taken his obsession lol!

I wouldn't count on it. I'd be about the only guy who would even consider it, there's just about no amount of money I could use to bribe the rest of the guy's into attending.

The message was more for the benefit of Edv, letting him know we're still out here. Ed was one of the good guy's back in the day, lost touch cause of various issues. Maybe I should have just kept things in private messages, kinda hijacked the thread, sorry.

That's cool, no highjacking thoughts at all.

This isn't an rx7 meet by the way, it's the annual High River Car Show.

Still good to hear the southern troop is running strong regardless of any appearance. I always did appreciate seeing Max's latest accomplishment. Still have the video of his old black 1/2 bridge, man that sounded awesome in the day.

Same motor, but with the camden and choked by a more restrictive exhaust...

Such a shame the pulse of my camden killed that sweet sounding idle (and the rest of the potential)

And then there was the budget peri-port, that was just cool, real cool....

Still playing with bridgeports, just bigger turbo's, still playing with Pports just more than 2 rotors

Lots of fun rotary stuff going on this season, and lots of fun stuff in the works, just need to know where to find it lol.

I'll have to take a sunday cruise toward longview one weekend for a visit. I have a nice, clean, stock, all original GSLSE (except for rims, exhaust) which loves to cruise on the highway.
