No, she was reasonably clean, actually. That was thanks to the $4 I got from everyone at the last meet. I actually only spent $2 on cleaning her. I wasted the other $2 on booze and broads. Two bucks sure doesn't go as far as it used to...

Lemme guess--- That $2 bought you a thimble full of Newfie Screech and five minutes with the sheep out back.

It was a good meet, even if it was a bit chilly outside. A good turnout too for such short notice, and it was nice to see some new faces. Im looking forward to some Sunday coffee meets and some proper ones in the spring.

Sorry to say, there was no cruise. The cruise was basically to my house to inspect my RX-7.

bahahahaha, i agree!, i still appreciate all the help everyone lended with my car!...

it's running better but still pings and hesitates, i think it's the 3800rpm hesitation to be honest with you, even at light throttle it does it....

If it's hesitating at 3800RPM then it's probably a grounding issue. I'd take a couple heavy gauge wires and ground the heck out of the engine.

Did you get a chance to talk to Max about that? I had the problem on my old TII and I added a single ground that didn't help. Seems to me, Max said it took more than one to be effective.

I got my RX-7 to run, or rather the coils to fire I should say, thanks to Max's advice on the differences between FB and FC ignition systems. I'll be out at our annual winter meet in my RX-7 as soon as I tie up some induction loose ends.

Thanks alot Max.

I can attest to the fact that it was clean. Very nice car, btw.

I was one of the "new faces" there and I just wanted to say that it was great to get and out and meet some fellow enthusiasts. Unfortunately I think I've already forgotten the name/handle of almost everyone I talked to.

I have the same problem. I meet people at these getogethers and then when I get back on the forum, I have no idea who I'm talking to.

Oh well, it was probably better I didn't make it, I had to build a pier off my deck and new railings as well as I prepare for winter and my new back yard retreat.

The new pier works great, no running down a concrete sidewalk to the spa now. Just a 12 foot dash from the door.

Enjoyed the meet, sorry I didn't get to talk to everyone more - I'm afraid I had the attention span of my two year old
