Calgarians! I need you help!

Hi fellow Calgarians, I would like to introduce myself as Michael and I'm in need of some automotive advice. I have just moved here from Vancouver BC and I shipped my car over. I need to get an out of province inspection before I can insure the car and change plates etc, as I was told.
My car concerns me because there is a small crack on the driver side front windshield. The inspection is going to cost $170~ and I would like to know if I can pass inspection with the crack? If not, how much should it cost to replace the front windshield? My car is a 92 toyota tercel (work car for now) and is in pretty good condition sans the windshield. thanks for reading

Edit - The place I'm taking the car to get inspected is at the Canadian Tire by 5th Ave and 33rd st NE. Anyone know of another Place that would be open Sunday august 19th that costs less than $170 to get an out of province inspection?

I'll be the first to say, THIS IS AN RX7 FORUM.
You might get flamed, But I think it should be able to pass.

if not your looking at about 100+$
for a new windshield depending on who you know

Just because I don't currently drive an RX-7 doesn't mean I don't love them! I was going to buy an FD back in BC, but I got offered a job here that I couldn't resist and didn't feel like shipping out both cars here cause that would be damn expensive! I'm only 19 and just moved out on my own so I'm trying to look for ways to save money. Also, what's a good car insurance I can buy?

I think you'll be fine with the crack, so long as it's not impeding your vision.
