Wanted to drop a line regarding the next lapping event we are having on the Canada Day Long weekend. Details below:

Where : Calabogie Motorsport Park (Full Layout)
When : Monday July 2nd 2007 (long weekend)
9am - 5pm (Drivers meeting at 8:45am)
Cost : $300 including BBQ Lunch
$40 additional co-driver (including lunch)
$10 for additional family/friends not driving but eating

It will be a fun day with a lot of track time, with the usual alternating run groups in the morning then open lapping after lunch. Point by Passing in designated areas, #1 priority is safety so check your egos at the door.

will you guys be having any instructors on hand to ride along and give advice?
i have done autocross (Solo II) but this would be my first time on a road course.
also will i need my own helmet, and if so what rating?

There will be a few coaches, we only accept one or two first timers as we are more of an advanced lapping group. If you have done some solo stuff then I'd be willing to assign you a coach for the morning sessions. Depending how things go we'll then let you solo the rest of the day. PM me and we can discuss further.
