I would love to come out, however, this year seems to be pretty tight for money and special events.
Seems like alot of events are happening in July.

I'm going to keep that weekend open. So for now, pencil me in.

I'm down! I haven't met many of you and I don't post much, but i've been on here for a while!

Jim K from rotarydynamics is the guy that put the final nail in the coffin. He took me on a lapping day at dunnville, and that just re-ignited the desire for an Rx7, which was lurking since i test drove an FD in 1999. Finally my car is pretty sorted out, with a fresh rebuild from BSC. I'm just in Barrie, so it's not that far for me to go. Sign me up!
Only thing that might interfere, is I'm having knee surgery on the 2nd. I should be fine to drive by then... just might interfere with how long I can stay on the road without a break.

We usually stop off at the major towns we hit for a break, refueling, ect. That should give your knee time to rest. If not come anyway, you can ride shotgun with someone if you can't drive yourself. Jim hasn't posted up on here, but I'm pretty sure he said he was going to come on the cruise too. Maybe things have changed though.

 

While I'm on here I'm going to add Scooter to the list. He is comming this year come hell or high water. Even if he has to drive my FC (which used to be his).

Awesome! We're pushing double digits for the cruise. That's what I like to see. Keep it coming folks. There's lots of room!

 

I'm liking the variety on the list of cars, one example of every model RX7 SA, FB, FC, FD, and even the vintage rotary. Should be pretty cool.

 

I'm not sure if my RX-4 is going to make the cruise. I took the wheels off of it tonight, and there is no way I can drive it with the front suspension the way it is. I have to swap out the entire suspension with FB parts (which I don't have). I'll also have to swap the front brakes, and I may possibly need camber plates. Brian, I hope you can find that other strut assembly for me.

 

I'll be tearing through my parts shed for ya tomorrow.

This is awesome, good to see more people coming out for the cruise. We usually just work out costs as we go. You will have to talk to the other Brian (Bass) about that when you get there. I'll actually have to get talking to him this week sometime and we'll get some of that stuff worked out.

I would love to come but I booked a vacation out of the Country that week. Seems like everything is that weekend.

 

I'm hoping to have a small Fall tour this year. Perhaps that'll work out for ya.

 

A fall cruise is a good idea. By then I should have the RX-4 operational. It's not looking good for my July deadline.
