Ever wonder why you see so many late model cars up here? Take a trip south where they don't get winter, and you'll see 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's cars look completely mint. Those people buy a car once and it's good till they die or they get "bored" of it.

Even when its dry and above zero the ground is covered in Brime (Spelling) and salt. Even in the garage if you have a daily driver that parks in it, the salt is everywhere. Hard to hide from the winter here.

As for the other car bay dragging in water and salt, I managed to make a small wooden wall barrier and used epoxy along the lower edges to keep the water from seeping under it. As you know, dragging all that water and salt accumulates and then you have people stepping on it splashing the stuff everywhere. This little wooden barrier I built prevents all that.
Doesn't take much to construct either. Also thankful our cars aren't too big. Makes it easier to make.

This is the first year I implemented the little barrier. And that's only because of my bros little people that like to splash the water whenever they see a puddle. If it weren't for them I wouldn't have to deal with the little barrier. Alas....
