Best Rotary Shop in GTA ?
I would like to say, in my opinion the Best Rotary Shop in the
Gta would be Mazdees Performance and Streetpower. I believe that they
are what you call, A True Rotary Mechanic Shop. The emphasis being on "rotary".
When you want to get a professional job done on your RX-7, from a qualified
rotary mechanic, who is trained in that field (not a LS1 mechanic) this is the place
to go. Streetpower performance's owner has worked at RX-7.com in Texas, so I
know this is where I would take my car. From what I have seen, the cars that
come out of that shop is, Track Ready, to kick ***. For sure there isn't any LS1
conversions done at this shop because he has the knowledge to sort out the
complications of a Rotary engine. I am happy with my FD since he worked on my
car from the beginning of his shop opening. Enough said for reliable
rotary power .

Do you feel better now you got that off your chest?
Did someone ask for your opinion?
What is your definition of a qualified rotary mechanic?
FYI, a rotary engine is not that complicated, which is part of the reason people love them. They have far less moving parts when compared to piston engines.
Making subjective comments about shops has often resulted in threads being closed quite quickly in this section as it often turns ugly when people start speaking ill of any particular place.
I think the consensus has been that positive comments are helpful. Negative comments should be dealt with by the participants directly (shop and customer) or in the bad guy section.
Your comments are mostly positive but you chose to take issue with any shop that performs an LS1 swap. That type of comment is not helpful at all and will quickly lead to the thread going down hill and closing.
Just my 2 cents.

I'm monitoring this thread. And yes the first post seems to read like useless propaganda. If the poster was stating "I just had this and this done at such and such and experienced great service" then I'd be cooler with it. Very few shops can survive on rotary work alone especially when their in less populated areas.
I likely know every owner of every "rotary" shop in Ontario and am comfortable doing business of some fashion with each of them. And finally just because a shop is rotary only doesn't mean they're reputable, think MRU... I know, I'm dating myself lol

No fix! No Politics. Just a happy customer voiceing my opinion. Had lots of experience with rotary (20+ years). I stand by my opinion. Mazdees & Streetpower still rule.

^ My RX-7 makes 1,000 horsepower. Just don't ask me to provide a dyno graph to back it up. It also gets 45 mpg on the highway. The secret is the trailing split.
