FD3S Rape Victim Recovery thread

I wasn't quite sure what to name this thread hahahaha

I picked up a 1992 Efini RX-7 Type R....some assembly required

This is what it looked like Assembled

The guy I bought it from Mom had bought it for him when he was 20 for 14k fresh from japan one original owner, he got a shop to give him parts for dirt cheap to promote their shop, got a bunch of aftermarket parts during the summer and winter, took it out of storage and it blew a coolant seal first day out, so he decided he was going to rebuild it himself pulled the engine and took it all apart. then he decided he was going to do a full ground up rebuild so he completely stripped the car, then I think he got lost cuz it sat like that for 2 years. I've known him a while so i just offered him some cash.
Its kind of my own fault for not goin to see how disassembled the car was. I had saw it before and it was mint, lol I went to pick up what i thought was my chassis and found a shell of a car
it had been outside since the summer i picked the shell up a month after the first snowfall so their wasnt any rust or anything from the snow, i got it all cleaned out....shamwow FTW!!! hahaha

then i got my 4 truck loads of parts . I've got the body back together so it atleast looks like a car.

I have a RCI 16 gallon fuel cell thats goin in once the weather cooperates. For the most part pretty much everything is there but unorganized. he was removing wires from the main wiring harness for things he didnt want. So i figure rather than have a nervous breakdown trying to sort through his mess, I'm best off just getting a front clip take my time rebuilding the motor up nice. beat on the other one for the summer and sell off the spare parts. I should have that in 2-3 weeks. I'm waiting for my new carpet to come in. so i can start reinstalling the interior.

The parts it came with
C-west body kit
ACT clutch and lw flywheel
New sportmax 006 rims and tires
tein coilovers
tannabe sway bars
apexi 3.5" catback
hks downpipe
greddy TID
Greddy oil filter relocation kit
Vis CF vented hood
Apexi Power FC with commander and boost control
CF resr strut tower brace
99 spec tail lights
99spec spoiler with CF insert
momo steering wheel
other little things

heres a picture i photo shopped to see what it looks like all black. I might put a red sweeping LED at the front bumper hahahaha . i might keep the red lip on the rims and maybe sell the body kit i havent decided yet

this is post #911 for me....is that a sign? hahaha

Good luck with the rebuild. Any parts you want to sell (how about that steering wheel?)
