Thumbs up Best $1000 buy ever!!

I picked this up from a guy I know yesterday for a thousand bucks!! It's a 1986 GXL. The car is near imaculate, auto (soon to be 5spd), leather, new tires, brakes, susp, fully loaded!! The obvious reason for the price is the engine is supposedly no good. I have yet to try and get it running, it might. I've already got a rebuilt engine to go into it, so this car is not going to cost me a thing to get on the road. I'm hoping by friday the 15th to be driving it. Shouldn't be to hard to do. This should be fun!!!

Sooooooo cleannnnnn *drool* O.O
Nice nice. It'll be awesome once you get that 5spd and rebuild into it. Do it all right and you'll probably end up with one of the nicest all-around FC's in Alberta =D

Thanks for all the awesome comments! I'm so fricken happy with this car!! So, it turns out the engine in the car is no good, the front rotor is blown. First time I've seen that happen since usually the rear rotor seems to be the one that blows. Anyways, spent six hours on her today and pulled the engine, auto-trans and all related parts, exhaust, the ecu, and the engine wiring harness. Now I have to spend tommorow pulling the running engine and 5spd, wiring harness and ecu out of the other car. (the other car is a pile of crap project car that no man could ever afford to finish!) At this rate I'm aiming to have it running by thursday after work. I hope!
