Been Fun.

Well guys, looks like I sold my last RX-7 today. I've had a pretty wild ride with all the first gens I have owned but I think I am done with this route.

still looking for something to replace the jeep... may end up in a late 60's camero or maybe the new one if they do the interior right.

might dip my foot into the 3rd gen waters if I can find a nice one cause I still love them too...

anyhow.. from that first Aurora meet so long ago... Neo, My Bad RX...., Silver Rotor, Aaron (yeah Mr Cake, I know you didn't make that one... and I never made any of the Ottawa trips...) was good to meet you guys, thanks for the advice etc...

i will still check in now and then like i always have cause you know, never say never... but it will be as a non-RX owner for a bit.

later ...

A small part of me has just died...why are you leaving the FB and the rotary fold?

Hopefully you'll find yourself back in a rotary again.

i still love the 1st gen... this last one was going to be a restore project for my dad and i. well, dad passed away in March and i just don't have the time or space to do the job on my own. the car has sat long enough and it's just depressing to see it sitting there like that.

last week some crackheads broke into his almost empty house and ended up bending the steel roof in half. the plexi sunroof was on the car and the steelie was inside... don't know why they did it, the sunroof was the only thing that was damaged but it kind of disturbed me and was the final catalyst for the sale. i had considered it a few times in the past but my dad would convince me to take it out for another spin and then i would still want to keep it.

i feel kinda sick about it, but i am confident the car will now be used the way it should be once again.

You never know what life throws at you.

It's been great seeing you all those years ago. Too bad we never got to see each other again.

You'll be back soon enough. They always come back!

well.. my RX7 is still on here OVRREVD took it off my hands and has big plans for it. told him i would love to see the first race...

almost picked up a rotary pickup... and an RX-4 wagon caught my eye in the autotrader the other day... but i am leaning towards some old muscle for my next ride (or maybe some new muscle if they don't #$%@# the interior like they did on the new mustangs) ...

anyhow.. good times...

and the only bass you will hear from this monster is Pantera

anyhow.. just thought i would share. after driving an automatic jeep for almost 6 years it's nice to get back into something with a stick full time!

Congrats on the new ride.
At least it's one of the better looking Mustangs! (like the old muscle.)

I think you just liked the solid rear axle in the 1st gen that you had to go back to it! Have fun kickin the tail out!
