... and always disliked the large/wide soles on your standard running shoe. I bought new driving shoes for the track
. They're pretty comfortable. Maybe now I can finally heel-toe in the RX-7 like I can in the RX-8

Marco, I bought the same pair last summer in Brown/Beige. You'lI love them! Still easier to hoe/toe in the 8 espeicially if you modify the gas pedal. I need a better gas pedal for the 7! it's on my list
Man, I miss my 8, fun so easy to drive, even in the winter.
Also Marco, you can move you gas pedal over a row of holes on the pedal.

Piloti had a booth last year at Performance World and were selling shoes for I think $60. Sizes and colours were limited but a pretty good deal. Hopefully they will be there next weekend again.

I've had a pair of Piloti's for a couple years. Great for driving in, but if your walking for more than a few minutes they start to hurt the feet. Got mine on eBay for $70... I think.
